Japanese chicken

 

 

Serves 8 as a starter or part of a buffet

 

Ingredients

 

1k chicken breasts, skinned

2 inches of ginger

8 cloves of garlic

Half a bottle of soy sauce

About 300g potato flour

1l sunflower oil

 

Method 

 

Slice the chicken breast into small strips of cubes.

Grate the ginger, finely chop the garlic and mix it together with the chicken using your hands

Add the soy sauce and stir again until the chicken is well coated

Leave to marinade for at least 30 minutes, longer is better

Mix the potato flour into the chicken with your hands until the chicken is well coated, you might not need it all

Heat 2cm oil in a frying pan

Fry the chicken pieces until golden
